Liselore’s ceramics are very pure and minimalistic and characterized by the fact that they are very thinly thrown. Which is very rare for stoneware.

Ceramicist Liselore says, “Since I was a little girl I have had a fetish for tableware. My mother was born in a famous pottery area in Southern Holland. It was normal to order special Anniversary dishes at the local potteries in her family and they also collected pottery. As a child, I already copied this behaviour by collecting mini tableware for my Barbie dolls when we were travelling with my family. It took a while though before I realized that becoming a potter was my destiny.”

We love the colours and illuminating which resembles one of the skies during different types of weather; sunset, fog in the forest after the rain, the hemisphere or the midnight sky.
