Born in the U.K Christina Master is a mover, artist, dance theatre-maker and researcher, of Greek descent.  She has been living in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for the past 7 years. She creates site-specific performances and installations, and her work calls for audience engagement, reflects on crowd movement behaviour, the paradoxes of public space and social interaction. She is involved in various projects with artists from multiple disciplines and is a member of Modern Bruises dance collective. She continuously trains in multiple movement practices and seeks to explore new principles.

She has performed in many festivals, theatre, exhibition and urban spaces in Amsterdam, London, Athens, Paris, New York, Boston, and has presented her research at numerous conferences such as Movement: Brain & Cognition (Harvard Medical School, MA, USA), IADMS (Helsinki, Finland & Houston, Texas, USA). She has a Masters in Dance Science degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music & Dance and a Bachelors in Sports/ Exercise Science & Dance Studies from Roehampton University (London, UK).
